It was one of the nicest days of the summer in California on July 10th, 2011. The highest temperature, being 72 degrees, was accompanied with a slight breeze. Seems like the best way to stir up some chaos was to attend the fourth annual Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. So I ventured out to the legendary Shoreline Amphitheater, to watch some of the brightest metal rockstars light up the stage (literally). With veterans of the tour, Suicide Silence and Trivium, joining forces with some of the most renown bands, Megadeth; Testament; and Machine Head, it was bound to be one hell of a ride.
